- Open Gemini while signed in to an eligible account.
- Upload the earliest original or downloaded file you have.
- Ask: “Was this image created by Google AI? Please check SynthID and explain any limits of the result.”
- Save the exact response, file version and check date. Keep detected, not detected and unclear outcomes distinct.
